What is Raindrop Technique?

The Raindrop Technique® is a unique practice based on methods that have been used for centuries to rejuvenate the body and mind. The Raindrop Technique helps bring balance and harmony to the body by combining aromatherapy, VitaFlex and specific techniques to help restore balance in the body.

This technique involves applying therapeutic grade essential oils to the spine, neck and feet. Each session last for 1 hour and 15 minutes yet the benefits may last up to a week or more.

What to expect during your session?

It's calming, relaxing and invigorating. It's unlike anything else you've ever experienced!

Each session begins with balancing of energy therefore I will be using Valor Essential Oil for this part. I will start at your shoulders, then I will end at your feet. Once completed, I will begin the Vitaflex portion of Raindrop on your feet. During this portion, 8 essential oils will be placed on your feet along the spinal reflex point. The technique for application is called Vitaflex. You can read more about it HERE. After each of the oils have been applied, you will then move to lay with your stomach down on the table, back exposed and your face in the cradle. The oils will be applied to your spine via "raindrop" one at a time. Different techniques will be used after each oil is applied to disperse the oil on the back. During each session, all oils listed above will be utilized. Occasionally, the need to use additional oils arise. Should this occur during your session, it will be at no extra cost to you. The session will commence with a warm towel placed on your back. At this time, you will lay under the blankets until the towel cools. Once the towel is removed, you will be assisted to sitting position and will be given water to drink.  At this point the session has concluded and you are free to leave.

What Essential Oils are used in the Raindrop Technique?
 

Valor - Calming and Balancing

  • Valor is an empowering blend that promotes feelings of Strength, Courage and Protection. It has been found to support energy alignment in the body.

Oregano - Purifying

  • Oregano is one of the most versatile and powerful oils. When used topically, this oil creates a warming experience for the muscles

Thyme - Powerful and Penetrating

Basil - Balancing

  • Inhaling can restore mental alertness. Also used for fatigue and muscle soreness.

  • Cypress helps to restore feelings of security and stability. It also supports the circulatory system. 

Marjoram - Muscular Tension

  • This soothing oil has a warming effect on the body and mind. It helps soothe muscles after exercise and also nervous tension.

Wintergreen - Soothes Tension

  • Contains methyl salicylate and is soothing in massage for head and muscle tension.  

Peppermint - Released Tension

  • One of the oldest and most highly regarded herbs for digestion and has been traditionally used to ease tension

Aroma Seiz - Relaxing and Soothing

  • This oil helps provide soothing comfort. It is recommended to be used after exercise or a stressful day. Great to help massage away life’s discomforts.
